The Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course is not your everyday municipal. Built in 1941,
the golf course was completely renovated in 1999 under the supervision of renowned
golf course architect John LaFoy.
The renovated course features large bent grass greens which average over 6,000 square
feet each, 419 bermuda fairways, concrete cart paths throughout, and features a
full-service pro shop staffed by PGA veteran Rick Atkins.
The Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course is owned and operated by the City of Goldsboro
Recreation and Parks Department.
